The short film "Ddabak Football Team" is a work produced with the support of the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Culture and Tourism Foundation, featuring the Ddabak Band, composed of musicians with developmental disabilities. The film is based on the special story of Ddabak Band member Yoo Jung-won.

The protagonist is Yoo Jung-won, the bass guitarist, who returned to the Ddabak Band after a few years of hiatus. The supporting cast includes Choi Kwang-ho, who plays the drums, Lee Hyun-jung, a disabled labor supporter who plays Jung-won's mother, Jo Young-ho, the secretary general of the Disabled Rights Federation who plays a doctor, Kim Cho-eun, a Ddabak Band singer and synth player who plays a friend, Lee Byung-jae, the director of the Jeonbuk Disabled News Joint Coverage Team who plays a soccer team coach, and Song Hyun-jin, a shelter resident for victims of disabled abuse who plays a coach.

In addition, Kim Geun-hye, the music director of the Ddabak Band, appeared as a Jeonbuk Hyundai FC staff member, and Kim Ji-an, Park Jung-ho, Yoon Sung-jin, Jeon Woo-jin, Kim Sung-yoon, and Chae Hee-won, who are developmentally disabled, appeared as soccer team members. Notably, Lee Seung-woo of Jeonbuk Hyundai FC and the team participated in the film shooting without any lines, adding significance.

The staff includes director Lee Byung-jae, scriptwriter and editor Lim Chang-hyun, assistant director Lee Mi-ra, music director Yoo Sung-hye, lighting director Park Jung-ho, sound director Jeon Woo-jin, recording director Kim Eun-bi, prop manager Song Hyun-jin, producer Kim Geun-hye, accounting support Kim Hyun-mi, cinematographer Lim Chang-hyun, and stadium cinematographer Lim Ki-ok.

The protagonist of the film, Yoo Jung-won, is a musician who plays the bass guitar in the Ddabak Band. However, he had to take a break from band activities and step away from the stage due to a major surgery three years ago. After a long rehabilitation and relentless effort, Jung-won was invited to perform again with the Ddabak Band at a special event in Sejong this year, marking an emotional moment.

This film is a work that unravels the touching experience of Ddabak Band member Yoo Jung-won being able to stand on the stage again through the subject of soccer. The film is filled with Jung-won's passion and challenge, and the warm stories of those who supported him.

In particular, the subject of soccer symbolizes teamwork, hope, and perseverance, and through Jung-won's story, it delivers deep emotion to the audience.

This work is especially meaningful as it was produced in collaboration between people with developmental disabilities and non-disabled people. The members of the Ddabak Band not only appeared in the film but also actively participated in the production process, adding authenticity to the film.

The short film "Ddabak Football Team" was first unveiled through a large LED screen at the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Culture and Art Sympathy Concert on October 28, 2023, and received rave reviews from about 300 spectators on site. It was later released on YouTube, recording over 2,000 views in just 10 days, delivering emotion to many people.
