Innocent Ear, Donkey Ear Program Overview

The visual arts project group 'Innocent Art Experiment' will be hosting a citizen-participatory workshop titled '2026 Innocent Art Experiment: Chak Chak Tuk Tuk Shuk Shuk' on the 8th at Palbok Art Factory Building B, focusing on sensory recovery.

This event is sponsored and organized by Jeonju Cultural Foundation and Jeonju City, planned by Innocent Art Experiment, and is part of the advanced course of the 2026 Jeonju Cultural Foundation Green Renaissance Experiment Project.

The workshop will be operated with three programs. Starting with 'Paper Yarn Station' from 10:30 am to 12 pm, followed by 'Space Collection: skin of space' (13:30~15:00), and 'Innocent Ear, Donkey Ear' (14:00~15:30) in the afternoon. Families including children aged 7 and above and local residents can participate, and there is no participation fee. Applications can be submitted through the Palbok Art Factory website.

The group planned this program to approach environmental and ecological issues not as a grand discourse but from the perspective of everyday sensory experiences. The goal is to awaken dulled senses within the relationship between humans and nature, and to conduct artistic experiments where individuals can experience the environment with their body and mind. The workshop was structured based on the pilot operation results targeting artists in January, and evolved into a citizen-participatory program by reflecting the advice and surveys of participating artists.

Eleven artists including Kang Dahyun, Kim Eunhye, Kim Jihyun, No Jina, Park San, Park Eunpil, Im Green, Jung Kang, Jo Minji, Han Byeol, and Han Jun are participating in this exhibition and workshop. The photography is handled by artist So Youngseop. The event will take place at Palbok Art Factory Building B, located at 46 Guretdul 1-gil, Deokjin-gu, Jeonju City, on the 1st and 2nd floors.

An official from Innocent Art Experiment stated, "We aim to share experiences of awakening senses in daily life through art and reconnecting with nature," adding, "We hope this will be an open program where people of various generations can come together."
