The '41st Jeonbuk Theater Festival' in 2025 will take place for three days from the 27th to the 29th at the Korea Sound Culture Hall. This theater festival is a special opportunity to meet the passion of theater artists representing Jeollabuk-do in one place, with performances starting at 7:30 p.m. daily.
Three groups will participate in this Jeonbuk Theater Festival: a creative theater group, the performance arts creation group Demisang, and the Kkachidong theater group. The festival serves as a regional preliminary competition to select the representative of Jeonbuk Province for the '43rd South Korea Theater Festival Incheon.'
The main competition of the '43rd South Korea Theater Festival Incheon' will take place for 23 days from July 5th to July 27th, 2025, at venues such as the Incheon Culture and Arts Center, Cheongna Bluenova Hall, and the Literature Theater.
All performances at the Jeonbuk Theater Festival are provided free of charge on a first-come, first-served reservation basis. The shows are suitable for ages 8 and above, and reservations can be made through the QR code on the posters.
The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 29th at 9:30 p.m. at the Korea Sound Culture Hall, emphasizing the excellence of Jeonbuk theater alongside the passionate performances of each group.
