The Eco Library, which will serve as a hub for reading culture for residents of the Eco City in the northern part of Jeonju, opened on the 21st. On that day, Jeonju City held an opening ceremony at the Eco Library located within the Eco City Complex Community Center and officially began its operation.

The Eco Library is a space that harmonizes with the Sebyeong Park where visitors can enjoy reading and relaxation. Through extended operating hours project, it will be open until 10 p.m. Various related programs and special lectures will be prepared focusing on climate and environment as special themes.

A children's creative reuse workshop called 'Tukttak' will be operated, and it is expected that the satisfaction of family users will increase by increasing the ratio of children's books and programs. The reading space is designed for children and adults to use together.

The Eco Library is open to all residents of Jeonju, and operating hours and program information can be checked on the Jeonju City Library website (lib.jeonju.go.kr) or by phone (063-714-3543). It will be closed every Friday and on legal holidays.

Meanwhile, Jeonju City has converted 9 out of 12 municipal libraries into multipurpose cultural spaces, and preparations are underway for the opening of the Ajung Lake Library.
