The Yes Center in Yongjin-eup, Wanju-gun, has started operating a participatory program planned and executed directly by local children and teenagers from the 20th.

This program targets students from the 4th grade of elementary school to the 3rd grade of middle school residing in Yongjin-eup and will run for a total of 9 sessions until December, every Thursday from 4:30 pm to 6 pm. It is operated in a way where teenagers set their own themes and carry out activities and discussions in team activities.

At the first session, around 10 people participated, initiating activities while communicating with each other, and various group activities are expected to follow in the future.

Seol Seon-ho, the head of Yongjin-eup, expressed his hope that "through the experience of teenagers participating autonomously, they will enhance their autonomy and sense of responsibility," promising continuous support.

The Yes Center is an open space where children and teenagers can freely use, and applications for program participation can be made through the Yongjin-eup Administrative Welfare Center (063-290-3486).
