On the 20th, Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province held a 'Self-Reliant Product Market Tour' in front of the main building of Gunsan City Hall, organized by the Jeonbuk Metropolitan Self-Reliance Center (Director Baek Young-gyu).

This event was organized with the aim of enhancing the image of self-reliant enterprises and exploring new markets. Various self-reliant products produced by regional self-reliance centers in the province were gathered in one place. Major items included Jeonju Hanip Food Nurungji Set, Gunsan Fish Teacher, Gunsan Hanmae Star. Dal. Bodeure Dosirak and Poke, Iksan Walnut Snacks, and Buan Noeul Choco handmade chocolate pies, among others, utilizing local agricultural products, were exhibited and sold, totaling around 30 different products.

Self-reliant products are items produced directly by vulnerable groups through self-reliant labor projects. They have excellent price competitiveness as there are no distribution margins, and they go through an honest production process, making them trustworthy for consumers.

Jeonbuk Province plans to operate self-reliant markets at least once a month for 14 cities and counties in the province and public institutions in the future.

Park Jang-seok, head of the provincial social welfare policy department, emphasized continuous cooperation with self-reliance centers, stating, "We will expand the distribution channels of self-reliant products and support income growth, while revitalizing the local economy through communication with local residents."
