National Academic Ability Assessment Conducted for the First Time This Year on 26th

The North Jeolla Province Office of Education announced on the 25th that the National United Scholastic Ability Test (USAT) will be conducted in 106 high schools in the province on the 26th.
In this USAT, 15,150 first-year, 15,300 second-year, and 15,795 third-year high school students will participate. The test will be conducted from 8:40 a.m. to 4:37 p.m. in the order of Korean, Mathematics, English, Korean History, and Exploration Area. The Career Exploration and Second Foreign Language/Chinese Area are excluded.
The scope of the test for first-year students covers all middle school content, for second-year students it covers all first-year content, and for third-year students it covers all first and second-year content. The mathematics test for third-year students varies according to the elective subject. The exploration area for first-year students is conducted as an absolute evaluation.
The results of the USAT will be provided online from April 14th to 28th. The North Jeolla Province Office of Education plans to operate a total of four USATs for first to third-year high school students and four mock tests for third-year students this year.
Choi Eun, the head of the Secondary Education Department, said, "This USAT is the first real test in preparation for the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test. We hope it will be an opportunity to check learning and establish strategies."
