The city of Jeonju, known as the city of film, will once again support the production of independent and art films this year. The city of Jeonju and the Jeonju Information Culture Industry Promotion Agency announced on the 24th that they will be accepting applications for the '2025 Jeonju Film Post-Production Support Project' from March 31 to April 14.

This project is jointly operated with the Jeonju International Film Festival, and has been supporting sound mastering, color correction, and DCP (Digital Cinema Packaging) production within the Jeonju Film Production Complex to enhance the quality of independent films.

Through this open call, the city plans to select a total of five works, including △ one full-length film nationwide △ one short film nationwide △ one local short film △ two DCP productions, and support their post-production. Applications can be made on the websites of the Jeonju Information Culture Industry Promotion Agency (www.jica.or.kr) or the Jeonju Film Production Complex (www.jeonjucinecomplex.kr).

The works completed through this project have achieved excellent results at domestic and international film festivals. Films such as 'From You', 'K-Number', 'Yurim', and 'Light of Esper' have won awards at the Jeonju, Busan, Bucheon, and Seoul Independent Film Festivals, proving the value of Jeonju's post-production infrastructure.

A Jeonju city official said, "We hope that more creators will present high-quality works using Jeonju's infrastructure."
