Gunsan City announced that it will accept nominations for the '2025 Gunsan City Youth Award' until April 10th, in celebration of the Youth Month in May.

This award, which has been implemented since 2017, targets youths aged 9 to 24 residing in Gunsan City. One person will be selected from each of the seven categories: ▲Service ▲Filial Piety ▲Labor ▲Culture and Arts ▲Sports ▲Science and Technology ▲Participation.

Candidates can be recommended by school principals, youth center directors, township chiefs, city hall department heads, and representatives of companies with 50 or more employees (for the Labor category). The winners will be finally decided after a review by the judging committee and will be awarded at the opening ceremony of the '2nd Jeollabuk-do Special Self-Governing Youth Expo' in May.
