Jeonju City and Jeonju University have joined hands to activate the 'Jeonju Together Welfare' policy, a sharing welfare policy of the 8th popularly elected government.
On the 25th, Jeonju City announced that it had signed a 'business agreement for the activation of Jeonju Together Welfare' with the participation of Jin Kyu-hoon, head of the Welfare Environment Department of Jeonju City, Han Dong-soo, dean of the Future Convergence College of Jeonju University, related officials from local comprehensive social welfare centers, and citizen welfare activists at the Freedom Hall of Jeonju University.
Through this agreement, the 'Jeonju Together' and 'Together Latte' space operation will be promoted through resident organization living lab education, and on-site support for solving local welfare problems will also be linked. In particular, the design thinking-based living lab education will be operated as a total of four sessions once a week, and 23 trainees will participate and grow into citizen welfare activists.
A Jeonju City official said, "Through this agreement, we will strengthen the resident-led welfare model and cooperate with Jeonju University to promote lifelong higher education and the spread of the welfare network."
