Jeonju City is stepping up its tailored support for at-risk youth in blind spots. The city and the Jeonju Youth Counseling and Welfare Center (Director Jung Hye-sun) selected 34 special support target youths at the 'Jeonju City Youth Welfare Deliberation Committee for the first half of 2025' held at the Jeonju Education Integration Support Center on the 25th.

The selected youths this time are those without guardians or at-risk youths who do not receive substantial protection, and they will receive cash support and related services for their daily life, academics, health, and self-reliance.

The Jeonju City Youth Welfare Deliberation Committee consists of 15 youth-related personnel to ensure the smooth operation of the Youth Safety Net, taking on the role of identifying at-risk youths and discussing support measures.

Director Jung Hye-sun stated, "We will continue to provide tailored support for at-risk youths by linking the Youth Safety Net and the 1388 Youth Support Team," while Lee Kang-jun, Director of the Jeonju City Planning and Coordination Office, conveyed, "We urge the cooperation of local institutions to ensure that youths can grow up healthy."
