On the 29th, the Wanju Military Talent Development Foundation (Chairman Yoo Hee-tae) held an entrance ceremony for English and Chinese language schools, welcoming over 100 new students. Yoo Hee-tae, the Wanju County Mayor, and Yoo Ui-sik, the Chairman of the County Council, attended the event and encouraged the students.
This year's recruitment of new students opened its doors to all applicants without a selection test, expanding the scope of educational opportunities. The English school has doubled its classes from last year to four classes, and has strengthened its professionalism by hiring two new native English instructors. The Chinese language school, with an 18-year tradition, also plans to provide an optimal learning environment.
Classes will be held from March to December every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., focusing on practical conversation skills and enhancing cultural understanding through language-centered education. There are also plans to offer courses for TOSEL and HSK exams to improve students' learning achievements.
Parents expressed their hopes that through conversation-focused classes, their children would gain confidence and be able to communicate fluently.
Mayor Yoo stated, "We are realizing educational equality by allowing any student who wishes to learn to do so," and added, "We will continue to support the development of local talents with international sensibilities."
