The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 27th that they held an information session on "Challenging Schools for Academic Improvement in Middle and High Schools for the 2025 School Year" at the Changjo Narae Audiovisual Room.

This information session was conducted for administrative staff from 40 middle schools and 58 high schools in the province, where they were briefed on the operational guidelines for Challenging Schools for Academic Improvement in the 2025 school year and tailored learning support policies.

Challenging Schools for Academic Improvement analyze achievement rates by grade, subject, and area based on self-assessment of academic achievement, and operate customized programs tailored to students' levels. Starting this year, learning support app 'Alla' will be used to strengthen learning coaching and mentoring based on learning data.

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education finalized the operating schools through a preliminary demand survey last year and plans to implement personalized programs in earnest after completing self-assessments by April. In addition, they will promote intensive learning support by operating a special challenge task that supports meal and snack expenses for over 2,500 high school students.
