Mayor Choi Kyung-sik of Namwon City announced that on the 28th, a prevention education on the four major types of violence in 2025 (sexual harassment, sexual violence, sex trafficking, and domestic violence) was conducted for 67 high-ranking public officials including the mayor at the city hall meeting room.

This education focused on preventing sexual harassment and sexual violence, and Yang Dong-ok, a specialist lecturer from the Korea Gender Equality Education and Promotion Institute, gave a lecture on the theme of 'Being a Positive Influence'. The education emphasized enhancing the adult awareness and sensitivity of managers and practical ways to create a gender-equal organizational culture.

Mayor Choi Kyung-sik stated, "A healthy organizational culture is formed when high-ranking officials take the lead," and added, "I will continue to make efforts for a gender-equal and safe workplace culture."
