The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced that it has provided guidelines for conducting "occasion-based education" in all elementary, middle, and high schools in the region ahead of the Constitutional Court's ruling on the impeachment of the president.

According to the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education, an increase in inquiries related to the functions of the Constitutional Court, the constitution, and the rule of law in democratic citizen education has been observed at school sites recently. In response to this, they explained that they have issued a public notice to help students gain a correct understanding of current social issues from an educational perspective.

"Occasion-based education" refers to timely education conducted in schools to help students understand and reflect on socially significant events or issues that are not included in the curriculum. Occasion-based education is carried out after reviewing the appropriateness of the educational content through consultation with school members, and it is operated in a way that encourages students to actively participate through questioning, exploration, and discussions.
