The Wanju County Education Integrated Support Center (Director Lim Sung-hee) successfully conducted a mediator (village instructor) education program supporting specialized high school extracurricular education programs from the 1st to the 3rd of last month. A total of around 30 participants, including local residents, parents, local activity instructors, and those interested in education, took part in this program.
The education focused on the specialized high school extracurricular education programs and understanding of specialized high school students, with participants conducting practical training through simulated operations using communication tools. This provided an important time to prepare for necessary communication and educational strategies in the future at specialized high school sites.
A representative from the Hydrogen Energy High School, who gave a presentation on the first day, stated, "We will do our best to plan and support an experiential/exploration-centered education program that students can create by linking the local content possessed by Wanju County for the mediators (village instructors) participating in this education." A mediator in their 40s expressed plans to apply the future education programs to actual educational settings to help students at specialized high schools experience voluntary and proactive projects.
This education program focuses on enabling mediators (village instructors) to smoothly operate specialized high school extracurricular education programs, and after the education, participants will experience various educational settings through practice.
Director Lim Sung-hee added, "Through this education, we will provide an opportunity for local residents to grow into education professionals based on Wanju County's education content and further strengthen the cooperation model between schools and the community."
The Wanju County Education Integrated Support Center plans to continuously develop and operate specialized programs for specialized high school students in the future.
