Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC (hereinafter Jeonbuk Hyundai) has completed the final puzzle for the 2025 season.

Jeonbuk Hyundai marked a milestone by making a last-minute acquisition of Australian A-League winger-forward attacker Joel Anasmo (Joel Anasmo/20 years old/180cm/WF).

Jeonbuk Hyundai has increased the speed of their team's attack by acquiring winger-forward Joel Anasmo, who has been active in the Australian A-League with Perth Glory.

Jeonbuk Hyundai explained that they completed the league player registration in March, but the announcement of the acquisition was delayed to fans due to administrative procedures related to visa issuance and entry into the country.

Joel Anasmo, at the young age of 20, is a player with great potential for the future.

Making his debut on the professional stage in the 23/24 season of the Australian A-League, Joel Anasmo played in 11 games in his debut year and scored one goal.

In the following 24/25 season, he continued to play in 11 games, gradually improving his skills, and is a promising player with even greater expectations for the future.

Especially in 23, his potential showcased during preseason matches with English West Ham attracted a lot of interest from many European teams.

Joel Anasmo is a player with excellent ability to break through the sides with his fast feet, and it is expected that his speed and destructiveness will be evident in Jeonbuk Hyundai's attacks on both sides.

Jeonbuk Hyundai expects Joel Anasmo to sufficiently fill the winger-forward vacancy left by Jeon Byeong-gwan, who enlisted on the 7th of last month.

Joel Anasmo said, "I am excited and thrilled to challenge the K-League. I want to enjoy new challenges and achieve success," and added, "As a player befitting the prestigious status of Jeonbuk Hyundai in the K-League, I will repay with good performances on the field."
