Sunchang County has been selected in the open call for the '2025 Adult Literacy Education Project' organized by the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Lifelong Education, securing a total of 45 million won including government funding.

Through this project, the county plans to operate tailored education programs such as basic literacy, digital literacy, and practical literacy targeting adults who have missed out on regular education opportunities.

The basic literacy education will be expanded from the existing 7 locations to 11, while digital literacy education including smartphone utilization will be conducted in 7 locations, and practical literacy (English) education that is helpful in daily life will be newly implemented in 2 locations.

The selection of education target locations will be conducted through a demand survey, and applications and inquiries can be made to the Sunchang County Administration Department at 063-650-1239.
