The National Gugak Center (Director Kim Jung-hyun) will present a complete performance of Park Su-beom's 'Park Bong-sulje Jeokbyeokga' at Yeumheon on the 26th at 2 p.m. This performance is the second stage of the '2025 Pansori Madang Sound Pan-Complete Performance.'

'Pansori Madang' is a project for the promotion of Pansori that the National Gugak Center has been pursuing since 1998. It is an annual planned performance where selected singers showcase the complete performance of five Pansori bases through auditions. This year, a total of five singers, including Yang Eun-ju, Park Su-beom, Jeon Ji-hye, Park Su-hyun, and Na Yoon-young, will participate in the 'Sound Pan-Complete Performance.'

The 'Park Bong-sulje Jeokbyeokga' to be presented that day is a piece set against the backdrop of the Battle of Red Cliffs in the Three Kingdoms period of China, portraying a narrative centered on battles. The piece combines the intense rhythm of the main drum and the high-level vocal techniques, vividly depicting the masculine heroic narrative and the dignity of the characters. Particularly, Park Bong-sulje is praised for harmonizing authenticity and strong vocalization, fitting well into the complete performance format.

Singer Park Su-beom is a recipient of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Pansori Jeokbyeokga certification and won the first prize in the general division of the 42nd Jeonju Daesaseupnori Pansori Competition. He is also a talented singer who won the Presidential Award for the Korean National Talent (President's Award). Recently, he has been expanding his depth in the world of sound through complete performance presentations. Kim Tae-young, who won the Presidential Award at the 37th National Gosa Competition, is also participating.

An official from the National Gugak Center's Pansori Madang performance team stated, "This stage, which fully captures the grand battles and tension between characters in the Battle of Red Cliffs, will be a time to feel the essence of Pansori narrative," adding, "Through the complete performance by the young singer Park Su-beom, we hope the audience will experience the depth of Park Bong-sulje in a new way."
