National Gunsan University announced on the 22nd that the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Secondary Battery Boot Camp Human Resources Development Team have signed a business agreement with Gunsan Dong High School to foster talent in the new energy industry.

This agreement was established to build an organic cooperation system for enhancing the thinking skills in the energy field and exploring career paths for local teenagers.

According to the agreement, the two institutions will jointly promote energy industry-related classes and club activities, high school linkage programs, faculty capacity building, and research facility utilization.

The business unit at Gunsan University plans to actively support the curriculum and extracurricular activities of Gunsan Dong High School students using excellent researchers and experimental equipment.

Director Sim Jung-pyo stated, "We will plan various programs to help teenagers grow into talents in the secondary battery field," and Principal Kim Soo-young of Gunsan Dong High School expressed, "The educational cooperation linked with the Saemangeum Secondary Battery Specialized Complex is meaningful."
