On the 22nd, Suncheon County held the 45th Disabled Persons' Day event at the Disability Sports Center under the theme of "Looking for Happiness, Capturing Daily Life, Connecting Hope."

Organized by the Suncheon County Disabled Persons' Federation, the event brought together over 500 people, including disabled individuals and volunteers, creating a warm atmosphere of harmony on a spring day. Starting with cultural performances such as saxophone music, the event continued with the reading of the Disabled Persons' Rights Charter, commendations for exemplary disabled individuals, and the presentation of certificates of appreciation.

Notably, a total of nine exemplary disabled individuals, including the Suncheon County Mayor, the Chairman of the County Council, and the Director of Education Support, were recognized for their contributions with commendations from their respective organizations. The second part of the event featured participatory programs like singing contests and games, adding to the spirit of unity.

Kim Jong-tae, the President of the Suncheon County Disabled Persons' Federation, expressed his commitment to further efforts in creating a society where disabled individuals are respected. Suncheon County Mayor Choi Young-il stated, "We will carry out meticulous administration to achieve inclusive welfare without discrimination."
