Jeongeup Citizens Scholarship Foundation is recruiting additional participants for humanities high school students to participate in curriculum classes in order to foster local talent and bridge educational disparities.
According to the foundation on the 23rd, this recruitment is part of the '2025 Local Leading Talent Development Project,' selecting a total of 73 students from 1st to 3rd year humanities high school students in Jeongeup. The recruitment quota is 13 students from 1st year, 30 from 2nd year, and 30 from 3rd year, with the application deadline set for May 2nd. Applications will be accepted through school recommendations or email submissions.
The project aims to provide opportunities for in-depth learning in key subjects such as Korean, English, math, and science to enhance students' academic performance and promote educational opportunity balance.
Classes will be held in a group format on weekends at the Jeongeup Lifelong Learning Center (93 Chungjeong-ro), with various learning support provided to participating students, including online learning content, career and college counseling, and transportation support for students from transportation-disadvantaged areas.
