The city of Namwon (Mayor Choi Kyung-sik) successfully hosted various children's cultural events in celebration of the 103rd Children's Day from the 2nd to the 5th, in conjunction with the 95th Chunhyang Festival.

On the 2nd, at the Love Square in Chunhyang Theme Park, the 'Chunhyang Love Drawing and Hundred-Day Market Contest' took place, bringing together elementary, middle, and high school students from the Namwon area along with their parents to create a harmonious atmosphere across generations. This event, which reinterpreted the love of Chunhyang and Lee Mong-ryong and the spirit of Chunhyang's faithfulness in a modern way, featured the organizers dressed in traditional Korean clothing reenacting the past, as well as various experiential booths and exhibitions providing participants with a special experience.

On the 5th, the 103rd Children's Day festival was held in conjunction with the Chunhyang Festival. Various programs such as circus performances, talent shows from kindergartens, youth gathering events, extreme balloon shows, and children's musical galas unfolded, receiving a great response from families visiting in groups.

During the Children's Day commemoration ceremony, exemplary children were awarded, the Children's Pledge was recited, speeches were given, conveying messages of congratulations and encouragement to the children.

The city of Namwon stated that following this event, they will further strive to improve welfare, education, and play environments for children, aiming to continue efforts to create a happy city for children. The winners of the drawing and market contest will be announced on the Namwon City Hall website on the 9th.
