North Jeolla Provincial Office of Education Announces 838 Passers for the 1st National High School Certification Exam in 2025

On the 8th, the Jeonbuk Education Office announced the successful candidates of the "2025 1st Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Exam" on the provincial education office website (www.jbe.go.kr).

In the exam held on April 5th, a total of 1,274 people applied, with 73 elementary school graduates, 175 middle school graduates, and 590 high school graduates, totaling 838 individuals, passing the exam.

The oldest successful candidate in this exam was 73 years old for elementary school, 76 years old for middle school, and 80 years old for high school. The youngest successful candidates were 11 years old for elementary school, 13 years old for middle school, and 12 years old for high school.

For those who applied by mail, the certificates will arrive within 2-3 days, while those who choose to pick them up in person can do so from 3 p.m. on the 8th until 6 p.m. on the 22nd at the local education support office. Score inquiries can be made from the 8th to the 27th on the provincial education office website's "Individual Public System."

Certificates and related documents can be obtained through the Government 24, educational institution complaint office, unmanned complaint issuance machines, etc.

Kim Nak-hoon, the head of the personnel department at the provincial education office, expressed hope that this exam would be a meaningful achievement for many who did not give up on the challenge, stating, "We will continue to make efforts to ensure that candidates can take the exam without inconvenience in the future."
