On May 9, the Wanju County Education Integrated Support Center (Director Lim Sung-hee) held a "2025 Career Mentoring Preliminary Meeting" at the Local Brand Bonan Highrie with local mentors to plan career education content and build networks through communication.

The individuals, called "Kkomer (Kkondae + Mentor)," participate in youth career education based on their own growth stories. During the meeting, they shared messages of growth through the recommended book "The Little Prince" and also engaged in symbolic activities like planting lemon trees.

A mentor from the Yangin Future Education Policy Research Institute expressed, "It felt like facing my childhood self," and said, "I hope to be a warm comfort to my juniors."

A center official stated, "Story-based mentoring serves as an opportunity for mentors to reflect on their own lives while meeting with youth sincerely," and added, "Through this meeting, we will further expand the depth of career education."

Meanwhile, the center's flagship career program, 'Accidental Kkomer's Hidden Masters,' which started in 2014 as 'Hidden Masters of Life,' connects the life stories of local adults with youth education and has been expanding in various forms since 2020.
