The National Gugak Center (Director Kim Jung-hyun) will hold a traditional music concert titled "," where tea and stories come together, at Yeumheon on the 28th at 7 p.m. Novelist Gong Ji-young has been invited as a guest storyteller and will share sincere stories about life and literature with the audience, focusing on the theme of "Flowers Blooming from Wounds."
Gong Ji-young, known for works such as "Go Alone Like the Horn of a Buffalo," "Our Happy Time," and "Dogani," is a leading novelist in South Korea who has conveyed social messages and deep emotional narratives through numerous acclaimed works. On this stage, she will express insights on wounds, healing, and humanity through literature, aiming to provide the audience with a warm comfort and reflection time.
The performance will begin with the sequence of 'Enjoying Our Music.' Members of the National Gugak Center's Changgeukdan, Yoon Young-jin (Mongryong), Seo Jin-hee (Chunhyang), and Seo Eun-gi (Gosu), will take the stage and perform a segment of the pansori , specifically the 'Love Song.'
