Wanju Youth Cultural Center is actively carrying out a youth-led environmental protection activity called 'Green Busking'.
This activity was selected as part of a public contest by the Jeonbuk Youth Activity Promotion Center, focusing on raising awareness and practicing the importance of carbon neutrality through environmental art activities planned directly by the youth.
Targeting youth from 5th grade elementary school to 2nd grade middle school, the program runs a total of 8 sessions from April to November. Participants engage in creating art pieces using recyclable materials from daily life and exhibiting them.
Choi Jeong-seon, the head of Wanju Youth Cultural Center, stated, "Operated in a way where youth take the lead and participate voluntarily, this program will serve as an opportunity to broaden awareness of environmental protection in collaboration with the local community."
Meanwhile, Wanju Youth Cultural Center is also conducting additional recruitment for the 'Youth Participation Committee' targeting youth interested in youth policies. For inquiries: 063-262-7942.
