The 'Gunsan Citizen Health Lecture with Gunsan Medical Center' program, operated by Gunsan Medical Center to promote the health of local residents, has been receiving positive responses from citizens.

The lectures are held regularly every fourth Thursday of the month until October, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., with specialists in orthopedics, surgery, neurology, plastic surgery, and other fields providing free health information on various topics. Before the lectures, basic health screenings such as blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, and atrial fibrillation are also conducted for free starting at 10:30 a.m.

On the 22nd, Dr. Oh Se-gwang, head of the dental department, will introduce the importance and management of oral health through a lecture on 'Dental Knowledge for Longevity Strategies.' Subsequent lectures will cover topics such as back pain, burns, diabetes, sleep disorders, and dementia.

Registration can be done through the Gunsan Medical Center website or by phone (☎063-472-5003).

Director Jo Jun-pil stated, "Providing accurate and reliable health information is an important role of public medical institutions," and expressed hope that it would help citizens enhance their ability to manage their health.

In addition to the health lectures at JB Culture Space, Gunsan Medical Center actively operates tailored health education and prevention programs at schools, senior welfare centers, and industrial sites.
