Wanju County Education Integrated Support Center Starts Extracurricular Project Classes

The Wanju County Education Integrated Support Center (Director Lim Sung-hee) officially started the extracurricular project classes for talent development in Wanju County for 72 freshmen of the Hydrogen Energy High School from the 14th of last month.
This program is designed to help students deepen their understanding of the region and enhance their practical skills by utilizing various contents of Wanju County. It will be conducted a total of 7 times until July 14th.
In the first two sessions, students will conduct preliminary and on-site research for exploring Wanju County, freely share their opinions, negotiate their thoughts, and reach a consensus on common opinions. Based on this, students will build basic knowledge about the region and also have time for presentations. In the following sessions, students will discover various contents of Wanju County on their own, and the process will continue with field visits and experiences.
Principal Song Hyeon-jin (Hydrogen Energy High School) expressed his hope that through this program, students will deepen their affection and understanding of Wanju County. He stated, "We will provide practical education by utilizing various resources of Wanju County." Additionally, a center official mentioned, "Through this program, we hope students will feel connected to the local community and that it will help them in designing their future."
