"Hakwoonhyeop, a group that adheres to the basics, will create a council that keeps promises"
Yoon Mi-yeon was elected as the chairperson of the Jeonju School Operation Chairpersons Association (hereinafter referred to as Hakwoonhyeop) in the election held on May 23rd at the Alternative Education Support Center. Yoon, the candidate, secured a majority of the votes based on the trust of the operating chairpersons and was elected as the new chairperson.
In her acceptance speech, newly elected Chairperson Yoon Mi-yeon stated, "I will create a council that adheres to the essential role of Hakwoonhyeop, is transparent, and embodies solidarity and cooperation," adding, "I approached the election with a commitment to uphold the basics and only make promises that can be fulfilled. I am grateful to all the operating chairpersons for their support and encouragement."
Having previously served as the chairperson of the Green Mother Association and the office manager of the provincial Hakwoonhyeop, Chairperson Yoon, drawing on her experience in faithfully bridging the gap between schools and local communities, presented pledges such as the continuous operation of the Operating Committee Support Team, real-time sharing of council activities, and the promotion of grade-level and regional meetings and practical workshops, gaining empathy.
In particular, she emphasized, "The reason we are gathered here is ultimately for the sake of the children," stating, "I will create a Hakwoonhyeop that adheres to the basics without forgetting our initial intentions."
Chairperson Yoon plans to continue with a practical approach that reflects on-site opinions to strengthen the status of the Jeonju Hakwoonhyeop and improve operational efficiency in future activities.
