On the 26th, the Wanju County Education Integration Support Center (Director Lim Sung-hee) conducted a field visit seminar for students and professors of the 'Innovative Future Education Major' at Jeonju University's Graduate School of Education at the center's education hall.

The theme of this visit was 'The History of Korean School Innovation,' and it was designed as a seminar-style class to help education professionals leading future education to develop practical skills based on experiential learning. Professor Park Il-gwan from the Innovative Future Education Major directly participated in the field and explored the case of Wanju County's education integration support system with graduate students, sharing the actual state of the local-based education ecosystem.

For over the past decade, Wanju County has been operating an educational curriculum where schools and villages collaborate, leading the way in a region-centered education ecosystem. In this seminar, they focused on sharing examples of ▲ school-village collaborative educational practices, ▲ the role of intermediary support organizations, ▲ and models of community cooperation.

Professor Park Il-gwan emphasized, "By directly experiencing practical examples of innovative education based on the field, graduate students will have a valuable opportunity to acquire a practical sense beyond theory," and stated, "Cases like Wanju County, where regional-centered education integration has been achieved, provide us with important insights as we contemplate the direction of future education."

Starting with this field seminar, the Wanju County Education Integration Support Center plans to spread excellent local cases nationwide and further activate mutual learning and exchange among educational institutions.
