The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 27th that it will actively implement safety management measures in preparation for natural disasters such as typhoons, heavy rains, and heatwaves during the summer season.

On that day, the education office held a meeting of disaster management officials at Wanju Dreamy School to provide guidance on disaster response measures. Key measures included updating emergency contact networks, adjusting academic schedules, inspecting disaster-prone facilities, and providing education on actions to take during wind and water disasters.

In particular, they established a response system for each level of disaster, forming dedicated teams for emergencies and setting up a 24-hour emergency contact and situation reporting system to enable swift responses. The response period is until October 15 for typhoons and heavy rains, and until September 30 for heatwaves.

Jang Gyeong-dan, head of school safety, stated, "We urge all schools at every level to actively prepare by thoroughly checking even minor risks to ensure the safety of students and staff, and to minimize damages."
