Iri Girls' High School (Principal Seong Sun-hwa) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Youth Bio Life Center (Director Kim Seong-hak) on the 26th to enhance exploration of careers in the field of life sciences and bio, and foster creative and integrated talents.
This agreement was established to provide educational opportunities for local teenagers to develop scientific thinking and career capabilities, and the two institutions have pledged to build an organic cooperation system.
The key contents of the agreement include support for career experience using specialized personnel and educational/experimental facilities, joint operation of a high school credit linkage program, and special lectures by experts in biotechnology and biohealth.
Principal Seong Sun-hwa stated, "Through collaboration with local specialized institutions, we hope to help students design their own career paths, and we hope that Iri Girls' High School will grow as a hub for bio career education."
