National Gunsan University has been selected for the Ministry of Education's '2025-2026 High School Education Contribution University Support Project.' With this, Gunsan University has established itself as a university that enhances public education and operates a fair admissions system for the 10th consecutive year through this project.

The High School Education Contribution University Support Project has been implemented since 2014 with the aim of operating a fair and transparent admissions system, alleviating the burden on exam-takers, and enhancing the quality of high school education.

Gunsan University was selected based on its high evaluation of cooperative programs with local high schools and fair admissions system operation, and will receive approximately 580 million won in government support until 2026.

Through this project, the university plans to promote ▲ strengthening of admissions officer education and training ▲ expansion of cooperation with local high schools ▲ qualitative improvement in admissions system operation, and aims to realize a model of admissions system centered on public education.

Kim Jong-gil, the head of the admissions office, stated, "This selection is a result of our high school collaboration activities and fair admissions system operation," and added, "We will continue to make efforts to create an exam environment that exam-takers and parents can trust."
