Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC (Chairman Lee Do-hyun, hereinafter Jeonbuk Hyundai) will collaborate with the World Food Programme (WFP), the world's largest humanitarian organization focused on ending hunger, to feature the WFP logo on their team uniforms starting from the home game against Ulsan Hyundai on the 31st at Jeonju World Cup Stadium.

Jeonbuk Hyundai stated that this collaboration is an initiative to practice the club's philosophy of "creating a better world through football and contributing to progress towards humanity." The space on the top center of the uniform where the WFP logo will be placed is known as the 'premium slot,' which typically features major sponsor advertisements and receives the most media exposure.

Jeonbuk Hyundai has committed to not only forgoing the commercial revenue that could be obtained from this space but also pledging additional donations to support WFP's efforts in combating hunger and providing emergency relief.

WFP is the largest humanitarian organization under the United Nations working towards ending hunger worldwide and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2020 in recognition of its contributions.

A club official stated, "This collaboration is Jeonbuk Hyundai's realization of the philosophy of 'progress towards humanity' pursued by the parent company Hyundai Motor through sports," adding, "Jeonbuk Hyundai aims to create values beyond just the matches together with the fans."

Hyundai Motor has been maintaining continuous cooperation with WFP, supporting the organization with Ionic 5 vehicles from July 2024 and donating funds for eco-friendly infrastructure development to WFP branches worldwide.

Chairman Lee Do-hyun emphasized, "The collaboration with WFP embodies the long-term direction and determination pursued by the club, not just a short-term event," and said, "We will prove together with the fans that football can be a language that changes the world."
