The Jeonju Cultural Heritage Foundation (Representative Director Choi Rak-gi) is recruiting artists to participate in the practical art experiment project '2025 Green Renaissance - Artists' Questions,' which reexamines the relationship between humans and nature and explores a transition in life.
In this project, starting from questions posed by the artists themselves, it captures the process of attempting new artistic practices connected to creation. Through this, experimental exploration is conducted on how art can sense ecological issues and create opportunities for transformation.
The target applicants are artists who have been active based in Jeonju City within the past 3 years, with no restrictions on age, major, or art field. Any artist who wants to participate in the art experiment project based on creative activities can apply.
Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, June 18th, and a final selection of 5 artists will be made through document review and interviews. The selected artists will receive a support fund of 3 million won each. The application method and required documents can be confirmed in the notice posted on the Jeonju Cultural Heritage Foundation or Palbok Art Factory website.
The art experiment project will run from June to October for about 5 months, and will be refined through expert consulting and networking among artists during the experimental process. The progress will not be limited to the artists' imagination but will be shared with a wider audience through the '2025 Jeonju Art Play Festival,' with exhibitions, performances, content production, and various other formats planned for public release.
