EBS Releases Results of 2026 June Mock Test Difficulty Survey

EBS (CEO Kim Yoo-yeol) conducted a survey on perceived difficulty through the EBS high school lecture site after the completion of the June mock exam for high school seniors in 2026. Out of a total of 4,827 respondents, 34.1% answered that this mock exam was "slightly difficult," while 31.2% responded that it was "average."
In terms of perceived difficulty by subject area, in the Korean language section, 29.4% found it "slightly difficult," in mathematics, 32.6% found it "average," and in English, 31.1% found it "average" and 28.0% found it "slightly easy."
The survey results for each subject area are as follows:
Korean: Very difficult (11.4%), slightly difficult (29.4%), average (26.8%)
Mathematics: Very difficult (12.9%), average (32.6%), slightly easy (26.1%)
English: Very easy (16.9%), slightly easy (28.0%), average (31.1%)
Korean History: Average (43.8%) was the highest, slightly difficult (19.3%)
Social Studies: Slightly difficult (25.8%), very difficult and average each 18.4%
Science: Very difficult (20.1%), slightly difficult (14.1%), average (8.9%)
Meanwhile, the estimated grade cutoffs for Korean and Mathematics released by EBSi (as of 8 p.m. on June 4) are as follows:
Korean: Composition and Writing 1st grade 96 points, Language and Media 1st grade 93 points
Mathematics: Probability and Statistics 1st grade 90 points, Calculus 82 points, Geometry 87 points
EBS expects that this survey result will help in formulating test-takers' learning strategies and analyzing perceived difficulty levels.
