Chonbuk University (President Yang O-bong) is taking the lead in realizing educational welfare by consecutively operating tailored programs to help disabled students explore career paths and adapt to university life.

In May 28-29, Chonbuk University operated a career and education support program for disabled students, followed by a university life experience program on June 9-10.

The career and education support program was organized to coincide with a career and education fair, introducing Chonbuk University's support system and campus facilities for disabled students, attracting the interest of high school students and accompanying teachers.

The university life experience program, sponsored by the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education and hosted by Chonbuk University, involved 8 disabled students from Jeonju Solnae High School, Namwon Yongseong High School, Jeonbuk Sadaebu High School, and Jeonju Eunhwa School. They participated in special lectures, major experiences, campus tours, and more.

Jo Dong-hyoo, head of the Chonbuk University Student Employment and Career Path Department, expressed hope that "this program will provide practical assistance to disabled students in career planning and university adaptation," and stated, "We will continue to provide various educational welfare support in the future."
