The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Council adopted the resolution proposed by Assemblyman Kim Dong-gu (Gunsan 2, Democratic Party) at its first plenary session on the 10th, titled 'Resolution Urging Revocation of Qualifications of Nulbom School Instructors from Rebox School and Investigation of Truth.'
Through the resolution, the council expressed deep concerns over the fact that some Nulbom School instructors have been imposing extreme right-wing historical perspectives, as well as engaging in online opinion manipulation and interference in elections. They urged the Ministry of Education and relevant agencies to take strong measures.
Assemblyman Kim stated, "The political neutrality of education is a value guaranteed by the Constitution," and criticized, "Using the educational field as a tool for political propaganda is a challenge to democracy."
The resolution focuses on revoking the qualifications of instructors from Rebox School, conducting special audits and national investigations on the recruitment and placement processes, as well as punishing those responsible and clarifying the truth.
The council emphasized, "This issue is a political agitation disguised as education, undermining the foundation of democracy," and stated, "We urge the responsible national response to protect the neutrality and fairness of the educational field."
