The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 18th that they are accepting applications for the '2025 Jeonbuk Student Entertainment Leader Selection Competition (Our School One PICK!)'.

In its third year, this competition aims to discover student entertainment talents with artistic and creative abilities, and is designed to provide students with a healthy opportunity for self-expression by linking audition culture with school arts education.

The competition is open to elementary school 5th and 6th graders, as well as middle and high school students in the province, and any student with talent and passion in various fields such as vocals, dance, rap, bands, and musicals can apply.

The preliminary rounds will be divided into three regions: Jeonju (Jeonju, Wanju), Iksan (Iksan, Gunsan), and Gimje (Gimje, Jeongeup, Namwon, and 9 other cities and counties), with 12 teams selected for the finals through regional judging. The preliminaries will be held on July 26th in Jeonju, August 16th in Iksan, and August 23rd in Gimje.

The final competition will take place on October 25th at 5 p.m. at the Hanok Culture Center in Jeonju, and it is open for all residents of the province to attend.

Students who wish to participate can download the application form from the JTV Jeonju Broadcasting website (www.jtv.co.kr) and submit it along with their audition video via email (spring@jtv.co.kr).

Kang Yang-won, the head of the Department of Culture, Arts, and Health, expressed hopes that "this competition will be a valuable stage for talented students in entertainment" and stated, "We will continue to support students in freely expressing their talents within schools."
