Summer Vacation Experience Program to be Held from July 28 to August 8

In celebration of the summer vacation, the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Disability Welfare Center will be operating the '2025 Vacation Happiness Camp' for adolescents with developmental disabilities. This program has been designed to support self-expression and social skills enhancement for adolescents with disabilities through various experiential activities.

The program is open to adolescents with developmental disabilities aged 13 to 18 who are capable of group activities, with a total of 10 participants being recruited on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will begin on June 19 (Thursday), and those interested in participating can bring their welfare card and register in person at the rehabilitation department of the welfare center.

The Happiness Camp will run for a total of 7 sessions from July 28 to August 8, and the main programs include activities such as gardening, screen bowling, disaster experience, movie watching, making chocolate pies, media art exhibition visits, board games, conscience roar experience, and calligraphy making. All activities will take place in the afternoons on weekdays, and the schedule is subject to change depending on the situation.
