As part of the local capacity enhancement project in Muju County, 12 clubs in the area that are being supported are gaining attention for practicing talent sharing beyond hobby activities.
The Muju County Rural Comprehensive Support Center has been supporting clubs in various fields such as performances, cooking, crafts, and environmental volunteering by providing instructor fees and material costs since March. The selected clubs are enhancing their professionalism through education and practice, while also strengthening their connection with the local community through activities such as performances at nursing homes, supporting marginalized groups, and donating goods.
The embroidery and sewing club 'Kkomjirak Kkomjirak' practiced warm sharing by donating handmade baby blankets to the Muju County Health Center. The blankets were handcrafted by members from designing to embroidery, cotton filling, and quilting, adding more meaning to the donation.
Center director Choi Il-seop stated, "We will actively support club activities to contribute to problem-solving in the local community and expanding social participation."
Meanwhile, the Muju County Rural Comprehensive Support Center is taking the lead in enhancing local vitality through various projects such as strengthening local capacity, supporting village communities, and responding to rural depopulation.
