The Jeonju Cultural Heritage Foundation (Representative Director Choi Rak-gi) is recruiting students for the 4th session of the traditional paper-making education program 'Hanji Hakdang' until the 12th.

The education will take place for 8 weeks starting from the 31st at the Jeonju Millennium Hanji Museum.

'Hanji Hakdang' is an education program that goes beyond simple experiences, where participants directly make traditional paper using traditional methods and practice drawing objects from traditional folk paintings 'Chaekgado' on it.

In particular, through step-by-step guidance from a professional paper-making master, even beginners can easily understand and gradually learn from the basics, and it is a significant feature that participants can naturally learn the principles and applications of traditional paper-making.

Choi Rak-gi, the representative director of the Jeonju Cultural Heritage Foundation, stated, "Traditional paper and folk paintings are cultural heritage that is filled with the lives and sensibilities of our ancestors beyond simple crafts," and expressed his hope that through this program, many people can feel tradition with their fingertips and experience the joy of creation.

For more information about the education program, you can inquire at the Jeonju Millennium Hanji Museum website (www.jmhm.kr) or by phone (063-281-1632).
