On the 4th, the Jeonbuk Provincial Museum of Art (Director Lee Ae-seon) held the official opening ceremony of the Jeonbuk Art History Research Series 'Park Min-pyeong: Varied Landscapes' and conducted a donation agreement ceremony with the artist's family.

The opening ceremony was initially scheduled to coincide with the exhibition opening in April but was postponed due to the early presidential election. On this day, about 50 people, including Park Min-pyeong's family, local art association chairpersons, and veteran artists, attended the event to collectively understand the late artist's artistic world and reflect on the value of his work within the flow of Jeonbuk art history.

In the second part of the event, a donation agreement ceremony was held where Park Min-pyeong's family donated art materials to the Jeonbuk Provincial Museum of Art. The donated materials include 40 exhibited works, brochures related to the works, photos, and archive materials, which will be widely utilized for future Jeonbuk art history research and exhibitions.

Park Yong-ji, the representative of the family (Wiz Medical), expressed, "I hope my father's works will remain in the local art history for a long time and become meaningful materials for future generations." Director Lee Ae-seon stated, "This donation goes beyond the individual artist and aims to create a shared record of local art history. We deeply appreciate the noble donation from the family and will carefully preserve the valuable materials and actively incorporate them into research."

The 2025 Jeonbuk Art History Research Series 'Park Min-pyeong: Varied Landscapes' allows viewers to chronologically view Park Min-pyeong's life and work under four themes: 'Fact - Color·Surface - Story - Varied Landscapes.' The exhibition will be held at the Jeonbuk Provincial Museum of Art Main Building 1-4 exhibition rooms until the 13th.
