Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province's 'HowWow Future Camp,' aimed at supporting the growth of youth and encouraging settlement in the region, has officially started full-scale operations with the launch of its second term.

On the 8th, the province held an opening ceremony at Harim Mission Hall of Jeonju University, where they conducted an official mentor-mentee matching ceremony between 100 students in their third year or above from 6 universities in the province and 43 professional mentors.

This camp is a program that helps young people enhance their job skills and career planning through projects and field experiences with industry experts in four different fields: advanced industries and digital, energy and mobility, agriculture and bio-life, and local contents.

The mentors consist of company executives, professors, and researchers, and they will operate a continuous career support and post-camp management system even after the camp ends.

Starting from the second term, there will also be opportunities for job experience in companies and research institutions through collaboration with the glocal university regional coexistence project.

Governor Kim Gwan-young emphasized, "The HowWow Camp is an innovative platform where young people grow together with the region," and highlighted that "the most important asset of Jeonbuk is its people, especially the youth."
