Jeonbuk Vocational High School Students Participate in Global Internship in Japan

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 25th that they will be operating a '2025 Vocational High School Job Education Type Global Internship' in Tokyo, Japan from the 27th to the 1st of next month.

A total of 45 vocational high school students from the province will participate in this internship, experiencing on-site training and practical education in 7 job fields including landscaping, electrical and electronics, machinery processing, financial accounting, cooking and baking, dog grooming, and hairdressing. The internships will be conducted at industrial universities in Japan, Chiba University, Yamano Institute of Culinary Arts, and Tokyo Global Business School.

The Provincial Office of Education is operating this program as a job education type centered on industrial sites to enhance students' global sensibilities and career design capabilities, and to provide practical assistance in preparing for overseas employment.

Earlier on the 18th, pre-training and safety education were conducted for participating students at Jeonju Industrial High School, and after the education ends, there are plans to share the outcomes through a results reporting meeting.

Moon Hyeong-sim, Head of the Creative Talent Education Department, stated, "This global internship will be a great opportunity to enhance students' international job capabilities," and expressed, "We will continue to discover policies that help vocational high school students in career design."
