The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education announced on the 29th that it will actively implement the 'Comprehensive Measures to Eradicate Workplace Bullying and Harassment by 2025' to eliminate workplace bullying and harassment and foster an organizational culture that is horizontal and respectful.

This plan aims to improve irrational practices within the organization and establish a systematic response to create a healthy work environment. It focuses on four main strategies: △prevention of workplace bullying △establishment of reporting and response systems △measures against perpetrators and protection of victims △prevention of recurrence, with a total of 20 detailed tasks to be pursued throughout the year.

Key contents include the production and promotion of concept card news on workplace bullying, operation of 'Mutual Respect Day' on September 11, establishment of a KakaoTalk channel for integrity and counseling, distribution of self-diagnosis checklists, and development of Jeonbuk-specific guidelines.

In particular, the Jeonbuk Office of Education will establish the first 'Workplace Bullying Review Committee' and introduce the 'Comfortable Labor Counselor System' to provide professional counseling and support for victim protection. Reporting of workplace bullying can be done through the Office of Education's website and the national petition platform, and starting from August, KakaoTalk chatbot counseling operated by the Inspection Office will also be available.

Inspector General Lee Hong-yeol stated, "Workplace bullying is a structural problem that threatens the trust of Jeonbuk education," and expressed, "We will continuously monitor and spread best practices to ensure that this plan leads to long-term improvement in organizational culture, rather than being a one-time initiative."
