The 'Korea-China Cultural Exchange Concert' featuring the Namwon City Youth Choir (Artistic Director Kim Jong-hee) and the Nankai University Choir from China will be held on August 1st at 7 p.m. at the main theater of the Chunhyang Cultural Arts Center in Namwon.
This performance serves as a cultural exchange platform where friendship is shared through music transcending borders and generations, offering a diverse stage ranging from traditional Korean and Chinese folk songs to popular global hits. Choir performances that everyone of all ages can enjoy, including songs like "Mori Hwa," "Arirang," "Ganggangsullae," and BTS's "Dynamite," will be presented.
Admission is free, and entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the performance.
Kim Kyung-sook, head of the Namwon City Cultural Arts Department, expressed hope that this performance will further activate Korea-China cultural exchanges.
Meanwhile, since its establishment in 2006, the Namwon City Youth Choir has been contributing to the development of local cultural arts through various domestic and international performances.
