From the 8th to the 30th, a media art event titled 'Coloring Gunsan with Light and Flowers' will be held at the former Gunsan Customs House.

Based on the time-traveling story of a grandfather and his granddaughter, Saebyeol, who holds the painful history of Gunsan, 15 programs have been prepared. The main program, 'Gunsan of a Hundred Years,' uses the windows of the Joseon Bank to express the lives of the people of old Gunsan through light.

Performances, installation art, and experiential content set against the backdrop of Gunsan Customs House, 18 Bank, and Gunsan Modern History Museum will also be available.

On the 4th, the Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Heo Min) announced that in collaboration with the National Heritage Promotion Institute (Director Lee Gwi-young), starting from August in Gunsan and until November in eight cities nationwide, the '2025 National Heritage Media Art' will be sequentially held.

'National Heritage Media Art' is a representative nighttime program utilizing national heritage sites, combining digital technology with historical and traditional national heritage to provide visitors with a special cultural experience. Last year, it attracted 1.48 million visitors, setting a record for the highest number of visitors ever, and continues to receive increasing attention.

The 2025 National Heritage Media Art will be held in eight regions across the country, including Gunsan (former Gunsan Customs House main building), Jinju (Jinjuseong Fortress), Goryeong (Jisan-dong Ancient Tombs), Jeju (Jeju Mokkwangwan Temple), Cheorwon (Cheorwon Labor Party Office), Tongyeong (Samdosugun Naval Command), Yangsan (Tongdosa Temple), and Gyeongju (Daereungwon Tomb Park), with richly prepared contents that reflect the characteristics of each region.
