The theater club 'ZEST' from Jeonju Jeil High School achieved a remarkable feat by winning both the gold prize and the excellent acting award at the 29th Republic of Korea Youth Theater Festival.

At this year's competition held in Miryang, Gyeongsangnam-do from the 1st to the 12th, 'ZEST' won the gold prize (Minister of Education Award) with the play **"The Letter Arrived Late"**, and 2nd-year student Lee Hyun-seo received the excellent acting award, being recognized for both the quality of the work and acting skills.

"The Letter Arrived Late" is a piece that conveys courage and comfort at the end of life through a letter sent by three grandmothers to their twenty-year-old selves, inspiring dreams once again. The actors' sincere performances and profound message captivated the hearts of the audience and judges.

The theater club 'ZEST' at Jeonju Jeil High School is a club where students who love theater come together to learn the joy of the stage and the value of collaboration. They actively lead all processes such as script rehearsals, stage setup, and performances, striving to present high-quality productions every year.

This award is the result of meticulous guidance from teachers Hyun Dong-gyu and Cho Kyung-joo, along with theater instructor Jung Kwang-ik, and the school plans to further develop students' creativity and artistic abilities following this achievement.
